| Utrecht Investment Agency is an initiative of the municipal and provincial government in collaboration with several partners. The partners selected show strong similarities in terms of core values, services and range of offerings. The current partners are City of Amersfoort, City of Utrecht, De Waal Trust, Fortis Real Estate, ING Real Estate, NS Real Estate, PingProperties B.V. and the Province of Utrecht. |
| | | | | | City of Amersfoort Located centrally in the Netherlands, a short distance from Amsterdam, Utrecht and Schiphol Airport. The city has more than 140,000 inhabitants, a relatively well-educated workforce and is home to about 8,000 businesses and companies. The local economy is running at full capacity and therefore makes a considerable contribution to the economic growth of the province of Utrecht. A large proportion of the Amersfoort business community is active in business services, in particular focussing on advisory services, ICT and innovation. These are not just the large international companies but also small, fast-growing companies. The city has a number of business networks, within which much knowledge and information is exchanged and from which many good, surprising initiatives arise in both the business and the societal domains. Take for instance the Business Club during the Dutch Open Tennis. That is the opportunity to invite your own business relations and to meet new relations. Another example is formed by the network meetings in the context of Amersfoort Creative City; a platform in which people are working on the development of the creative economy, together with innovative companies from the design, advisory and ICT branches. |

| | | City of Utrecht The Municipality of Utrecht is involved in many developments in the field of real estate. In this connection, it maintains intensive contacts with companies, customers, and residents. It provides the expertise required to realise special projects, such as the purchase and conversion of outstanding buildings, or the development of multi-functional buildings. Further, the municipality is also involved in the acquisition of land, the management of real estate and providing support for development plans. The Project Organisation Station Area and the Leidsche Rijn Project Office have been set up for the development of the two largest projects in Utrecht. |

In this context, we do not shy away from long-term projects, and we have a strong commitment in projects in which we are involved.’ |

| | | NS Poort In a city, the station takes a special place. Not only because the railway often separates two parts of the city, due to which good connectivity solutions above or below the rails have to be sought, but also because stations are urban ‘anchoring points’. NS Poort is a socially committed project developer of locations around public transport hubs. For ten years now, we have been bringing locations to life by developing and operating (urban) offices, residences, schools, hotels, cinema halls and shops. The objective is to optimally organise public spaces around stations. The combination of public transport with buildings that are intensively used by people is a unique one. We believe in good buildings at the right place. |

We focus on the 'opportunity' investment market. Where other parties expect only problems, we see opportunities. We develop a vision for the property by adding value, and then translate this into a concrete approach. All this leads to a whole range of attractive investment opportunities. By pursuing this course of action, coupled with our firm belief in it, we keep a keen eye on the market, act decisively and as a result generate good returns.
We aim for solution-oriented and transparent communication without a rigid framework. Firm action and decisive processes make us more effective than our competitors. Our successful projects underline our proven track record! |
